
It was a rather lovely little room - much lighter than you might have expected from outside the shop - and with some amazing paintings on the wall, discovered, I believe, as the years were being peeled back. Pitted and scarred, they were once apparently decoration for a dining room. Now they exude a real sense of exotic mystery that is only increased by their 'distressed' state.
I can't really say a lot about the exhibition, in that I know all the work pretty well already. I like it, and the printmakers involved are all namechecked on the poster. For the record, Emma fell in love with Jane Elliot's tree houses and will doubtless end up with one of her prints sooner rather than later.
