My postcard exchange has arrived. This is an exchange organised by the Iowa State University Print Society - you produce 13 postcard prints on the given theme and post them to the organisers, who then send you back a range of 12 and keep one of each original for their archive. I was using gum arabic transfer, had left things far too late (oh, really?) and was struggling - was it the ink? The original image? Whatever it was, things weren't going to plan. In addition, although I did the regulation far too many (just in case), I had it in my mind that I needed 8 prints plus 1. Anyway, the end result was that I barely scraped the necessary number. Here are some of the postcards I received back through the post this week - the theme was disguise.

Hi there
I make prints and book arts, though nowhere near as often as I'd like - no good reason, just an inability to get on with things. I occasionally go on about landscape (with which I am mildly obsessed) and various of its elements, and I like to pass comment on exhibitions I visit. Archives
